Immersive audio tours
I write and produce immersive audio experiences for cultural sites — castles, museums, historic districts. Not guided commentary, but fiction: a cast of characters, a written narrative, and spatial sound design that places the visitor inside the story rather than in front of it.
In Matsue, Japan, the experience follows Lafcadio Hearn, the Western writer who settled there in 1890 and spent his life gathering the ghost stories of the country. Visitors walk from the castle to the old samurai quarter while the voices of the past speak around them — and the city itself becomes the set.
